Where the Wild Ones Roam! Yoga and Adventure Retreat
With Marissa Khalaf and Hector Estrada
March 3 - 10, 2018
If you’re like us, then you have felt the repercussions of getting swept up in your own life. Falling victim to our daily routines. Whether we know or realize, the effects are physical, mental, and emotional. Living in a fast-paced life leaves little time for connecting fully at our most basic levels.
This adventure is a chance to disconnect from the everyday in order to fully connect with others, connect with nature, but most importantly connect with your primitively wild self in the jungles of Costa Rica. Come explore and adventure with us as we not only venture inland to experience Costa Rica’s rich culture, but also travel inward to mindfully experience one’s current self physically, emotionally and spiritually. Come ready with an open heart and mind, in order to receive and accept the challenges you’ll face as you step outside your comfort zone and reconnect to your inner wild.
We will have the opportunity to surf the beautiful beaches of Avellanas, hike through the lush jungle of Rincon de la Vieja, whitewater raft down Río Negro, zip-line through the canopies of a beautiful volcanic landscape and partake in daily yoga classes. Each day will feature a 75min morning practice readying us both in body and mind followed by an optional daily adventure that will unfold. Our physical practice will be mindfully rooted in power vinyasa to get the blood pumping while raising high vibes!
The retreat will be held at the beautiful Peace Retreat resort in Playa Negra, Costa Rica. Its remote location is on the edges of the volcanic black sand beach of Playa Negra, and is the perfect setting to discover inner and outer peace. Surrounded with the vibrant sounds of nature, you will hear birds chirping, waves crashing, howler monkeys calling, and the cooling winds rustling through the trees. Peace Retreat is an ideal location for transformation of the body, mind, and spirit. The open space allows your inner wild to feel comfortable to roam, relax, reflect and reconnect.

The mind-body connection that this amazing practice ignites warmed her soul. She fell in love with how the practice empowered […]

That lead him to a 200 hour yoga teaching certification. He later found and dove head first in Sculpt […]
