Yoga and travel mean different things to each person. They could be ways to relax, explore, de-stress, push oneself out of their comfort zones, create flexibility or to simply get away.

When I first visited Peace Retreat in March 2018 I was nervous to be traveling out of the country by myself but I was also excited to visit such a beautiful place vastly different from where I call home, Chicago. As I acclimated to the beautiful grounds, foreign sounds, and kind people who run, volunteer, and visit at Peace Retreat, I eased into a sense of Pura Vida (which you will all understand better once you visit). I have now visited Peace Retreat 3 times and cannot wait for you to join me as I lead this upcoming yoga retreat. I look forward to guiding you in ways to connect with nature by practicing yoga outdoors, exploring the surrounding areas, connecting with your inner cycle by eating delicious healthy local meals, and winding down when the sun sets. Ultimately, I hope to guide you on how to make this location and this retreat what your body, mind, and spirit need. Each time I have visited has been a unique and beautiful experience and I hope to bring a little rest, reset and relaxation to your 2024 then having you return to your home ready to take on the rest of the year rejuvenated!

The Retreat Cost includes:

• Transportation to and from the Liberia Airport
• Your choice of accommodation (private accommodations are available for an additional fee)
• 2 fresh, wholesome, healthy meals a day (breakfast & dinner) with coffee and tea available each morning. There is a cafe menu available for lunch, snacks and smoothies, as well as nearby lunch options for purchase.
• 1-2 yoga classes daily
• 1 group excursion (to be determined) and additional excursions are available for an extra fee
• Time to yourself or with new friends for R&R
• Linen, towels, yoga mats and props are provided but please feel free to pack your own

You can pay half now and the remaining balance by March 14, 2024.

• Arrive at LIR airport
• Peace Retreat will arrange shuttle service (approximately a 75-90 min drive to Playa Negra)
• Peace Retreat staff will greet you and show you to your room
• Relax, swim, read, unpack, decompress!

Monday, April 15th

• Awaken with the sun, birds, and howler monkeys
• 7:00am Power/Vinyasa Yoga
• 8:30am Breakfast
• 10:30am Group walk to the beach (it’s a bit of a windy path to the beach but after you go once you’ll be able to find it on your own)
• Free time (pool, naps, beach, read, explore)
• 5:00pm Restorative / Gentle / Stretching Yoga
• 6:00pm Dinner

Tuesday, April 16th
